Child Support

Your child support is determined through a calculation set by the State of Washington/Oregon. Child Support is the least flexible of the agreements that we will be working on. Child Support is viewed as the property of the children and cannot be waived by either parent. The child support calculator will determine the financial contribution of both parents, the amount of transfer payment to be made, and the percentage of medical, childcare, and educational expenses paid by each parent.

The following is a link to a basic calculator. We will be using a more detailed program, for which I have a subscription, to determine the amount more accurately and assess the tax advantages of deductions.
