Mediator
Through mediation, we help families have difficult conversations and work together to create agreements on how to move forward in a new way.
Mission
To Strengthen Families by facilitating conversations focused on positive outcomes for all family members.
Philosophy
Divorce is one of the most difficult things we will go through in our lives, but the divorce process shouldn’t be more painful than the loss of the relationship. The legal process pits us against each other when we are at our most vulnerable. Conflict escalates and our children become its casualties. It doesn’t have to be that way. We help you move forward in a way that puts your children first and honors the best of your marriage.
Meet our Mediator
Laura is a woman with a heart for service. She has been a mediator for over fifteen years and has mediated over 400 divorces. Having been the child of a hostile divorce and having divorced herself in a litigated divorce in which she saw how the legal process was turning her into someone she didn’t want to be, Laura is passionate about supporting couples in divorcing peacefully and with respect. Laura is also a Court Visitor – investigating guardianships for Clark County - to insure vulnerable people have the help they need. Whether mediating divorce, parenting issues, or supporting elders, Laura’s gift is to support others through difficult emotional times with humor and warmth. Prior to becoming a mediator, Laura was a non-profit administrator for organizations serving individuals from all over the world and from a variety of socioeconomic backgrounds and faiths.
