Parenting Plan Resources
Parenting Plan Information
The first agreement that we generally work on is the Parenting Plan. It is the area in which couples tend to have the most agreement. Working together to plan your children’s future helps build confidence that you can end your marriage peacefully. It is also the agreement that courts allow the most flexibility. Judges trust that you know your children's needs best and generally support decisions that the two of you make together.
The Washington state template follows. It is bare bones. We help you customize this document to fit your unique family’s needs and establish a communication plan that will aid you in working through differences if you disagree.

Don’t feel constrained by these ideas.
